  As of September 4th the Village Clerk Jennifer Poyer is gone. Friday was her last day.      I believe that she took a long with her the last vestiges of a solid work ethic, integrity, and principles that remained in Kronenwetter Village management, outside of the Fire Department.    It seems as senseless to me as a cutting away the good parts of a country apple , and  keeping the core and worm-eaten remainder.     Mr. Davel's proclaimed "culture change" for the Village seems to be creating what the ancient Greeks termed a " Kakistocracy" .    Definition: A government run by the least qualified, most incompetent, or most corrupt individuals. Or in short - "the worst choice of people"    Clerk Poyer didn't just decide to leave, I believe she was methodically driven out by hostility, and passive and not-so-passive aggression of coworkers.       The much waited for "investigation report" has finally been released due to public pressure. In my opinion, if even half of the augmentation is true, this has been the most corrupt, dirty, bungled and just plain stupid waste of taxpayer money that I have ever seen in Kronenwetter. That is saying a lot.    I have posted 3 other articles on "The Investigation" Parts 1,2, and 2.5 weeks ago. I stand by every word of those, and much more coming now that the full report is available to the public.     The various future articles will be posted in no particular order, just as I get them written.  The statement has been put forth that   administrator James Davel claims publicly that the investigation was "retaliation" against him by former Trustees Charneski and  Sorensen over the sand mine issue. So, here is my reply to that:    I believe this accusation is likely his deliberate tactic to distract attention ...

 James Davel has said repeatedly that he wants to "change the culture of Kronenwetter government". It appears that he is doing that by eliminating diligent, knowledgeable workers who favor open, honest government. First Rutherford, then Wegner, now Poyer.    In my opinion, this Davel/Joling partnership has brought nothing but betrayal to taxpayers and destruction to Kronenwetter, and this is the latest.  I'll post more on this issue later today, along with the complaint against Davel and Joling that Poyer refers to in her resignation.

         As a Village trustee, my experience with Mr Davel shows me a demonstrated disregard for rules and laws, an inappropriate assumption of  "tail wagging the dog" control over the Village Board, and an apparent uncouth lack of tact, knowledge, or ethical restraint in his administrative duties. In short, it seems that Mr. Davel simply does what he wants to, regardless of the damage it may do to the Village.    In other words, I believe that his incompetence is as obvious as a neon sign; he is unfit for the position and should be removed by the Board. Ditto for Mr. Joling. Neither of these two could have brought such cost and destruction on the Village without the support of the other one.      Look back at Davel's performance for the past 10 months, read the investigation report, read the extensive augmentation, read their (Davel, Joling, Board members) CYA comments in news articles, and see if you disagree wi...
