  Someone asked the question on Nextdoor: “ I was wondering why the residents were not informed Before this was sold to Mitch King,? I feel the residents really did not have much of a say or input into this deal. The small area where what is now to be our waste site was all wetland and swamp. Are you going to eventually move the compost and mulch over to our site? “ Here is my answer: You are correct. The public barely knew about this sale. Chris Voll's and Aaron Myszka's "von Briesen Report" Part 2 - A $65,000 crime against Kronenwetter Taxpayers

On March 24, 2025 I brought to the Village Board meeting Agenda item O - Review of von Briesen Report    The objective was to determine how $65,000 of taxpayer money got spent on a project after the Village Board voted specifically not to engage in.   On January 31st 2024 the Village Board held a special meeting with a single agenda item which was "Discussion & Action: Selection of independent Counsel in Reference to Employee Complaint."    The Board and village attorney determined in closed session that the December 14 email from an employee that had gained such attention was not a legitimate complaint, but a page-long venting session. Skepticism and Discernment   Judi Akey Kronenwetter • 5 days ago Thanks so much to the Village Board (Trustee) Candidates and the County Board Candidates who participated in the Kronenwetter Candidates’ Forum this evening. The audience asked them some good questions and we heard some good responses. I especially want to thank the organizing committee made up of Geri Kowalski, Pat Kilsdonk, Judy Fries, and Judy Hatz. Would work with any one or all of them again any day!
