Joling Forbids Truthful Public Input

 In yet another step down the Village's Road to Perdition, corruption, and unAmerican activity, Village President, Mr Dan Joling has denied former trustee Sandi Sorensen her right to provide written public input at the August 10 Village Board meeting.     He said it's "too long", even though "too long" public input has often been accepted, or at a minimum the reading was cut short after the first three minutes.    I think length is not the issue here, as much as concealing information is.    Joling's $40,000+  Kronenwetter "investigation" has shown itself to be an epic debacle of what I'll call unwarranted, unethical, and in my opinion even illegal personal efforts by Joling and Davel to punish and drive out some of the few honest people left in the Kronenwetter Village  organization.    Aside from the costly "investigation" which was in turn apparently used as an excuse to fire Pete Wegner "with just cause",  the strate...

My Open Meetings Complaint to the DA

     Below is the complaint I sent to the Marathon County District Attorney.     My reasons are  described in the complaint.     The problem is not just in this one meeting. It appears to me that Admin Davel and Pres Joling have made it a habit to do their deeds under the cover of illegitimate closed session, based on insufficient notice on the published agenda. There are a half dozen other such meetings that should be prosecuted as well.    The Wisconsin Supreme Court has defined guidelines for public notices of closed session meetings and it is not rocket science for Joling or even Davel to understand.    A basic rule of thumb is that if you the public have no clue as to what the meeting is actually about, then it is in violation of the Open Meetings Law. Why I Filed the Open Meetings Complaint

  I'll give you the bottom line up front. The premise of this article is to show the reader that extensive evidence indicates:  The numerous closed session meetings held by the Village Board in the past 6 months have been unlawfully held, in violation of Open Meeting Laws    This has allegedly been done deliberately to conceal among other activities, a very questionable division of money to certain favored employees.     This money came as an alleged result of dirty dealings by Administrator Davel, President Joling, and members of the Village Board in targeting and firing an employee in an unjustified and  malicious manner ; thereby ripping off his accrued benefits.   The budgeted unspent wages of this person were divvied up as spoils in a closed session without public knowledge.
